A kick bite to eat and kiss before you go...
Today as my mom grabbed a quick bite of lunch at Taco Bell (I know, but we had to…) I noticed a young couple that were eating a few tables over from us. They seemed to be laughing and having great conversation. After a little while they left and went outside to where their cars were parked. They had both driven separately (which I noticed when they started unlocking them) and had obviously just met to have lunch in the middle of their busy work day. But once they were saying goodbye and started hugging, they kissed each other goodbye. They kissed for several moments, over and over, and finally pulled themselves apart to get in their cars.
Don’t you remember what that is like? How much fun it is? To actually be WITH (in person) the one you love and not be able to tear yourself away from them? It reminds of the Maroon 5 song, “I’ve had you so many times but somehow I want more…”. It’s that kind of love.
I suppose that this occurs commonplace everyday and many people wouldn’t have even noticed, but to me it was a magnet for my eyes because of the ache I feel to kiss the one I love. It’s hard to be apart…..it never grows easy. And I can’t wait to just hold their hand again! So, don’t take it for granted. Take those extra seconds to kiss them again and again and again before they leave.
Let’s be honest… they were having an affair - at TB no less. ;)
