indieandyy says, “I just stumbled across a great new tumblr called Movie Barcode, which takes every frame of a film and condenses it down to a 1 pixel bar. While they are all gorgeous pieces of postmodern art, I think the this Wizard of Oz barcode is a good one to look at first:
You can clearly see the sepia tones of Kansas before the flares of the Yellow Brick Road, then on to Emerald City just a past the halfway mark. It gets dark as the Wicked Witch of the West wages war with the help of flying monkeys before the quick wrap up in Oz and a return to Kansas.”
